Shahid Kapoor impressed his fans with his royal act of Maharawal Ratan Singh in 'Padmaavat' and was pitted against the antagonist Ranveer Singh who played Alauddin Khilji with equal brilliance. The two were rumoured to have had differences between them but according to reports, Shahid has revealed that he bonded with the actor over their common love for music. Shahid said that since Ranveer and he were a new team, it took them some time to get used to each other. The actor reportedly said that he once asked Ranveer to play his boombox louder which was already very loud and that's how the two bonded. The actor is older in the industry than his 'Padmaavat' co-stars Ranveer and Deepika and took some time to have a comfortable bonding with the two.
